Nelson Williams, LEED AP – CEO of the Briohn Companies
Nelson Williams is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison where he studied business, sociology and pre-medicine, while competing as Captain and USRowing All-American on the Varsity Rowing Team. As CEO, Nelson manages the three Briohn companies, including construction, design and property management, and is focused on developing new business for Briohn.
Bob Goehner – President of Briohn Building Corporation
Bob Goehner, a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, has over 30 years of construction experience. Bob oversees day-to-day operations of Briohn Building Corporation, and is actively involved in many of our large projects.
Jim Olson, AIA – President of Briohn Design Group
Jim Olson earned his Masters of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and is a member of AIA (American Institute of Architects), NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Board) as well as an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). Jim oversees the architectural group at Briohn, working with each project's design team from the initial planning through project completion to help define project goals and translate those goals into a successful project design.
Tony Ash, CPA – President of Briohn Property Management
Tony Ash earned his Accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater where he also played on the varsity football and baseball teams. Tony's 20 years of experience as a CPA in the construction field helps him to successfully manage over 2 million square feet of property for Industrial, Office and Retail clients all over southeastern Wisconsin.
Brian Byrne, PE - Chairman
Brian Byrne, an engineering graduate of Marquette University, founded the company in 1979 and has grown the company to a Top 25 Milwaukee General Contractor. Brian began as an engineer who drew plans, managed projects and acted as field superintendent. He remains actively involved in company management today.
John Lubotsky – Executive Vice President
John Lubotsky joined Briohn as partner in 2002, bringing a wealth of retail and customer service experience to the company. Before partnering with Briohn, John owned the multi-state Warehouse Shoes company, selling the business to Famous Footwear in 2001.
