Burghardt Sporting Goods

Having been in business since the 1800’s, Burghardt Sporting Goods is recognized as one of the oldest family owned and operated sporting goods stores in the nation. Briohn designed and constructed this 15,500 SF retail store by combining two existing tenant units into one large space. The project involved major structural reworking and the removal of significant bearing walls and adding fire separation to the neighboring tenants. This was necessary to create a large enough footprint to accommodate the needs of Burghardt’s and the shopping center owner. The work was done in the space below Fresh Market Grocery balancing the mechanical needs of both tenants.
