Briohn worked with Carma Labs, a manufacturer of high quality Carmex lip balm and skin moisture products to design and construct a two-story office and high bay warehouse addition to their existing distribution facility. Carmex was started in 1937 by Alfred Woelbing and is now in its third generation of family ownership in Franklin, WI. The project design ensured that the addition was cohesively integrated with the existing buildings, using precast concrete, brick exterior and eight-inch thick structural concrete flooring. All of the demolition and construction took place while Carma Labs was fully operational, creating no downtime for the company.
