Assisting the owner in evaluating the building and identifying project costs prior to their purchase of the building, Briohn designed and constructed a 25,000 SF office and production area remodel for CFR Engines. CFR Engines is a manufacturer of highly engineered engines utilized by the petroleum industry to test refined fuels prior to distribution. The building was retrofitted to fit the client’s exact needs in three construction phases:
- Phase one was a fast track office remodel that allowed the company to move out of its temporary work space and into the building to continue operations. From start of demolition to occupancy was less than four weeks’ time.
- Phase two included remodeling the production area of the building into a fuel-octane testing facility and training laboratory. This included the installation of a fuel storage container.
- Phase three was a complete site renovation including new parking lot driveways, landscaping, water lateral and exterior building remodel.
