Since 2005, Good Harvest Market has been Waukesha County’s largest natural food store specializing in organic, local and gluten free foods. Working with start-up company FortEco on a new panelized wall system, Briohn’s construction team was able to fast track this ground-up organic grocery store. While facing an expiring lease at their previous location, the owners of Good Harvest took this opportunity to relocate and rebrand the store concept. The building has many environmentally friendly features including the use of reclaimed interior finishes, energy efficient wall panels and environmentally friendly landscaping. A mix of natural products were incorporated into the building, including wood siding and natural stone, creating a unique architectural design.
Briohn worked with the owners, through site due diligence, focusing on layout and buildable area to maximize the allowable building footprint and visibility to the road. This new grocery store houses an adjacent café, rooftop dining area and an environmentally friendly drycleaner.
